Foundation Donation Options

Dollars for Scholars

The Minnesota United Methodist Foundation (MNUMF) has joined the Dollars for Scholars program with the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) to provide scholarship aid for United Methodist students from Minnesota who attend United Methodist-related schools, colleges, universities and seminaries in the United States.

Generosity Across the Generations

MNUMF encourages stewardship training for children through this set of four lessons which specifically address generosity through personal support of the local church. This curriculum is designed to help learners discover not only how generosity touches each of our lives in our everyday ordinary places and spaces, but also how we may be vessels of generosity to others in very important ways. Your support of Generosity Across the Generations enables more local churches to use the packet and resources and ongoing development of the program.

Permanent MNUMF Admin. Fund

Your direct gift to the Minnesota United Methodist Foundation goes to build a donor base of philanthropic United Methodists who are willing to support the MNUMF through its ability to fund Conference projects or special needs. The MNUMF’s staff travels the state to assist individuals and local churches. They provide estate counseling, visitation with local church groups, and distribution of numerous brochures and educational resources designed to help cultivate individual stewards. These services are provided without charge because of the financial support provided by you.

Through Foundation investments in stocks and bonds, where the principal is left intact in endowed funds, the gifts multiply from their original amounts – with increased benefits to the designated cause or institution.

Gifts to this Foundation are tax deductible in accordance with gifts and estate provisions of the internal revenue statutes.

This Foundation is qualified to receive your gifts in the form of donations, wills, trusts, insurance policy beneficiary and through estate administration.
